Reports indicate that the police have a man from San Sauveur in custody, as they investigate an incident which left an elderly man dead in San Sauveur. The man in custody has not been charged with any crime. Police PRO Pellam Jno Baptiste said the incident took place at around 7 pm on Sunday 30th May, whereby Rogecien Laurent, 61, of Petite Soufriere, sustained an injury to his chest. He was pronounced dead by a medical doctor. Investigations are ongoing, and a coroner’s inquest is expected to be convened in the matter. Police PRO Pellam Jno-Baptiste has more. In more police news, one adult male of Petite Soufriere is currently nursing injuries at the Princess Margret Hospital (PMH) due to an incident which occurred in San Sauveur on Sunday morning.
According to police reports, Vivian Durand of Petite Soufriere who sustained wounds to his chest, was transported to the Castle Bruce health center, and was later transferred to the accident & emergency department of the PMH, from where he was admitted.
