Students of the Wesley High School have been encouraged to look beyond dreams in order to achieve success. That call came from Director of the Information & Communication Unit, and former student of the Wesley High School Jermaine Jean-Pierre. Jean-Pierre was the featured speaker of the graduation ceremony for the Wesley High School which was held at the Arawak House of Culture Thursday. Thirty-eight (38) students graduated under the theme "Living a legacy of life-long learning." Elena Benjamin emerged as the 2017 Valedictorian of the Wesley High School. Benjamin copped the subject awards for Biology, Caribbean History, Office Administration, Principles of Business, Social studies and Spanish. She also captured the Wesley High School 2017 Principal's award for Outstanding Leadership, History Department Neg Mawon Excellence in historical studies award, First Domestic Insurance Award for Business and the DOMLEC award for most outstanding student - Valedictorian.
