Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Letitia Lestrade-Wyke, says Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) continue to be a health concern throughout the Caribbean, including Dominica. She was speaking at a certificate ceremony held to recognize 21 participants of the Stanford Chronic Disease Self-Management Programme, which provided community leaders with the training necessary to teach others how to manage NCDs.
