Ag Resident Representative of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, Ambrose Sylvester, advises that the ECCB will put new environmentally friendly polymer EC dollar bank notes in circulation from June 2019
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) is making some major changes to EC dollar bank notes. Acting Resident Representative of the ECCB, Ambrose Sylvester, says the notes serve as an environmentally friendly aspect to currency, and will increase the bank’s efforts to prevent counterfeit tactics and fraud.
Sylvester told Q95fm Radio yesterday Tuesday 14th May, the new EC Polymer notes will take effect from June 2019 in phases, with the last note to be released in June 2020.
