Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux says the Ministry of Health has learnt lessons from Maria, which has led it to be more prepared this Hurricane season. However; Darroux is urging citizens especially those who suffer from chronic non-communicable diseases to keep their medical records safe, and to always have at 2 weeks supply of necessary medication at hand. Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux Meanwhile Dr Lenora Fevrier- Drigo within the Ministry of Health says, as Dominica prepares for adverse weather conditions, persons are encouraged to take necessary precautions and actions as it pertains to managing their health. She says all departments within the Ministry of health and Services have activated their disaster emergency plans, and is encouraging all citizens to activate their family plans. She mentioned 10 health centres which have been displaced since Maria, and where patients are now being seen. Dr Lenora Fevrier -Drigo within the Ministry of Health
