Attorney Anthony Astaphan wants Opposition Leader Lennox Linton to vacate the House of Assembly

Attorney Anthony Astaphan wants opposition Leader Lennox Linton to vacate Parliament. Linton has been receiving criticism from some quarters, since he was served with a bankruptcy petition, due to his lack of payments to Chartered Accountant Kieron Pinard Byrne.
 
According to a petition filed at the High Court, Linton owes Pinard Byrne a total of £24,792.12 in outstanding payments from the final judgments made by the judicial committee of the Privy Council in a court matter.
 
Attorney at Law Anthony Astaphan says once an order of bankruptcy has been filed, Mr Linton must vacate the House of Assembly.

Meantime Astaphan says Linton travelled excessively while he failed to fulfil his financial obligations to Chartered Accountant Kieron Pinard Byrne.
