Businessman Wayne James says Government was tardy and negligent in repairing the Antrim Area road

​Member of Electoral Commission and Businessman Wayne James is concerned by what he deems to be the tardiness and negligence of government, in fixing the deplorable road conditions in the Antrim area.
 
On 11th December 2017, Q95 news received an announcement from the Dominica’s Ministry of Public Works & Ports, advising that all motorists traveling to the Antrim area were to divert to the Warner road instead.
 
The contractors have now started repair work on the Antrim Road, and it is therefore currently closed to traffic in both directions, until the works are completed. 

​Meanwhile, James is cautioning motorists and travelers in the Warner, Sultan and Cochran area, about the deplorable road conditions.

James blames the authorities for the current state of the road infrastructure in these areas, which according to him, are a threat to the lives of those who traverse the area.
