CCM Treasurer John Blanchard contends that senior public servants must be held responsible for allegedly indirectly facilitating financial misconduct of the DLP regime through their inaction

​Treasurer of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM), John Blanchard, emphasized the crucial need to hold senior public servants accountable, including the financial secretary and the cabinet secretary, for facilitating financial misconduct of the DLP regime by their inactions. He highlighted the importance of these individuals taking a firm stance and demanding transparent financial reporting for all approved and expended funds. By doing so, it would help prevent politicians in power from misusing funds.

Blanchard mentioned that in addition to the courts, it is essential for the Dominican people to come together and demonstrate their unified resolve to the global community, in reclaiming a minimum of $7.9 billion of the nation's unaccounted financial resources.
