Collihaut MP Catherine Daniel says ten Colihaut residents who were displaced by Tropical Storm Erika in 2015, will now receive new houses
Parliamentary Representative for the Colihaut Constituency, and Social Services Minister, Catherine Danielle says some residents of Colihaut will soon receive ten new houses from the Government of Dominica. These houses will be delivered to ten families who were significantly impacted by Tropical Storm Erica in 2015.
She stated that the houses are expected to be completed by July, and despite many challenges, they are on course to be delivered on time.
She says there is a “building Boom” in Dominica which is very demanding on building materials.
She disclosed that there are five contractors, who are moving at a ten-apartment pace.
