The Commonwealth Students Association (C.S.A) with the support of the Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC), on June 27, 2019, will host a 1-Day Capacity Building Workshop targeting student and youth leaders as part of activities for CSA’s Regional Engagement Tour of the Commonwealth Caribbean.
That workshop will focus on areas of leadership and student governance on 27th June 27 at Prevo Cinemall Ballroom, and this will form part of the Commonwealth Students Association’s Regional Engagement Tour of the Commonwealth Caribbean, where the Regional Chairperson is scheduled to be in the Commonwealth of Dominica from June 26 to 28, 2019. The Commonwealth Students Association (CSA) and Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC) are independent umbrella organizations established under the mandates of the Commonwealth Charter to represent the needs, interests and voices of young individuals in the Commonwealth. The main aims of the two Commonwealth organizations are to communicate, engage & advocate for youth & student-led participation. The CYC and CSA work to mobilize the voices of its members, and advocate for governments to meaningfully engage youth and students. This Caribbean and Americas Regional Engagement Tour will mark the first time that an official of the Commonwealth Students’ Association will visit Dominica, and forms part of a wider movement under the CSA to increase the quality and quantity of national student organizations and student movements operating within the Commonwealth
