DAEC President and Pastor Randy Rodney faults DLP Administration procrastination in appropriately amending the Electoral Act
Senior Pastor and DAEC President Randy C Rodney, is questioning the DLP administration’s procrastination to conduct proper amendments to the Electoral Act, in order to facilitate a quick an efficient process of Electoral Reform, before the upcoming General Elections in Dominica.
Rodney compared the need for Electoral Reform in Dominica to that of Antigua. Antigua recently completed appropriate Electoral Reforms within 6 months, and held General Elections, which saw the sitting government changed, giving a fair reflection of the wishes of the Electoral Population in that country.
Rodney believes that in the case of Dominica, the DLP administration have successful hindered the process of electoral reform for almost two decades.
