Persons in the north of Dominica are being introduced to the first ever tourism enhancement competition (CTEC), which was conceptualized by the Dominica Community Tourism Association Inc. (DCTA). This competition is expected to kick-off in the month of March. It was built on four pillars of focus, which are cleanliness, landscaping, hospitality and community involvement. Manager of the DCTA Lester Riviere says the competition has the capacity to enhance the country’s overall tourism product. He added that the competition has a schedule of different locations as well as different times, to best incorporate as many people as possible.
