Dominica’s 18-member DLP Cabinet has allegedly approved payment of $32,000 per month for rent of a mansion to serve as residence for Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and his immediate family. President of the Dominica Freedom Party (DFP) Johnson Boston calls this act by the Roosevelt Skerrit Administration ‘Wickedness in Broad Daylight!’ Boston says this EC $32,000 residential fee from the country’s Treasury is wrong, stressing, this is happening during a time when the economy and its citizens are struggling to meet basic monthly responsibilities. Boston asks, ‘why is there so much secrecy about the ownership of this property?’ ‘Why couldn’t the Skerrit Administration approve funds for renovation of the existing official Prime Minister’s residence?’ He wonders weather anyone who assumes the office of Prime Minister will be allowed to live in this high-end residential property. He Spoke to q95 FM radio on Monday. Dominica Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman, Johnson Boston.
