Photo: Diamond Pixels A new Executive Vice President (EVP) has been appointed by the Board of Directors of the Dominica Hotel & Tourism Association (DHTA). Kevin Francis is Stephanie Astaphan’s successor to the position, after she announced her resignation from that position in January 2017, to take effect on 28th February 2017.
Francis expressed delight at his appointment, and considers it “an Honor to be part of such an innovative organization. He plans on using all available information, and personnel resources, to help increase the visibility for the organization, as well as its values and its members.” According to a release, Francis’ background includes marketing and customer relations. He is expected to assume his new role as Executive Vice President of the DHTA on 1st March 2017. The Dominica Hotel & Tourism Association is a non-profit organization providing centralized and innovative information, advocacy, and leadership for the tourism industry in Dominica. It has served the industry for more than four decades.
