The Rotary Club of Dominica is gearing up to hold its annual investiture ceremony at the Fort Young Hotel, this Friday 30th June 2017.
According to a release, at the Investiture Cocktail, the handing over of the Club leadership is slated to take place. Outgoing President for the Rotary year 2016/2017, President Dr Reginald LaFleur, will hand over the mantle to incoming President, Rotarian Aylmer Irish for 2017/2018. At the ceremony, the board will assist incoming President Irish with his duties, and will also be pinned. The outgoing and incoming Presidents are scheduled to address Rotarians, their partners in service, and Rotaractors. Meanwhile, the Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) will be bestowed upon two (2) deserving Rotarians. A new Rotarian will also be pinned at the Ceremony. The Feature Speaker for the ceremony will be Ambassador Hubert Charles. This theme for the new Rotary year is “Rotary: Making a difference”.
