General Secretary of the Dominica Public Service Union (DPSU) Thomas Letang says negotiations for the 2018 to 2021 Triennium remains an issue with the present Skerrit led DLP administration. He says there has been no further progress made between the public officers and the current Administration. He does however say that they did received a letter of acknowledgement of their much earlier communications from the Government, the very next day after the very massive successful protest action help by DPSU and its members. Letang says that letter however, contained no sign or indication of any apology from the Government, after almost two years of ‘no response’ to their earlier communications. The government’s letter after a 2-year lapse merely stated that comprehensive assessments are currently being done, and that the delay has been due to the impact of hurricane Maria. Letang says this is a delay tactic being implemented by the Government. Dominica Public Service Union General Secretary, Thomas Letang
