Dr Maureen Paul advises against over-dependence on revenue from the risky and failing CBI program1/15/2018 Member of the DAAS Economic & Development Committee Dr. Maureen Paul wants Caribbean Leaders to become more cohesive business relations as a grouping, to help the Islands toward achieving their development goals, as members of small Island Developing States (SIDS). Meanwhile, Paul wants Dominica’s government to make appropriate use of the country’s national resources, in a manner that will significantly boost the productivity, economic resilience and revenue of the country. Paul further recommends that Dominica’s government refrain from becoming overly dependent on revenue from the Citizenship By Investment Program, as it has begun failing throughout the world, and has also proved to be accompanied by major security risks worldwide. I doubt, Roosevelt Skerrit, and the labor party have any economic development plan for the country, as far as investments into industries are concerned. The governments ambition is to collect the quick cash from the sale of passports. To base a nations economy on criminals, and crooks continuously buying passports means; every day for the rest of Dominica existence, a child must be born in line to buy a Dominica passport.
