The Dominica Youth Business Trust saw its 14th Graduation Ceremony Wednesday. The Campbell's Rotaract Club of Dominica, Carol G. Phillip Memorial Award for Innovation in Business went to Ishmael Joseph of Craft Enterprises. Meantime, Minister for the Environment, Climate Resilience and Urban Renewal Joseph Isaac representing PM Roosevelt Skerrit at the ceremony says now more than ever before Dominica is the land of opportunities. He says it is the perfect breeding ground right now for entrepreneurship. He has told the entrepreneurs to strive towards resiliency in their business ventures. The 2018 Determined Entrepreneur Award went to Mislyn David, former Ag Manager of Hibiscus Eco-Tours, and the Determined Male Entrepreneur Award went to Kervin Vidal of Salisbury.
