Education Minister Petter St Jean has requested that the "Ask, Listen, Learn-Kids and Alcohol Don't mix" program be incorporated into the country's Health & Family Life Education Curriculum.Phase II of the program which was implemented at 5 primary schools across the island came to a close Thursday. The program was developed by the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol responsibility to eliminate drunk driving and underage drinking and to promote responsible decision making regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages.The 2ndphase of this program was done in the Roosevelt Douglas Primary school, Pineville Primary, Roseau Primary, San Sauveur Primary & Bagatelle Primary School. St Jean addressed Thursday's closing ceremony which was held and the Public Service Union building. Dominica became the first Eastern Caribbean country to implement the program in 2015, and was piloted in 4 schools; Grandbay, Sineku, Goodwill and Salybia Primary.
