The Environmental Health Department is concerned about vendors making certain areas within the city of Roseau permanent vending sites. Vendors have taken to various parts of the produce to sell their produce as the Roseau Market as well as some of the restaurant locations were proven unfit for vending and selling of local foods following Hurricane Maria. Coupled with that was the clean-up that was taking place within the vicinity of the Roseau Market for several weeks after the storm making it impossible for vending there. However; Senior Environmental Health Officer Sylvester St Ville says a temporary vending approval will be provided to allow persons the right to sell within the city. St Ville says, although the law makes provisions for that type of vendor under such circumstances, there are conditions that must be met. Senior Environmental Health Officer Sylvester St Ville
