Ten (10) students have been awarded scholarships to attend secondary school by First Domestic Insurance Company. The scholarships valued at EC$800 per student, were presented to the students on Thursday. Chairman of the Tonge Group of Companies Curtis Tonge said the private sector should assist government towards enhancement of education, and that his company is committed to playing its part. He was speaking at the scholarship ceremony at the First Domestic Conference Room. Mr Tonge also told the scholarship recipients to be mindful of the people they associate themselves with in life. The students are Cohan Lockart, Mia Purity Andrew, Maetin Enrico Brumant, Bernice Lawrence, Venera Valerie, Jeoni Jno Baptiste, Jackel Durand, Jefran Reid and Makilia Jno Baptiste.
