FLOW says its relationship with the Roseau Primary School located in the Bath Estate community, is solid. Flow has provided support to the School in many ways including fibre connectivity, since adopting it in 2011, to ensure students have the best internet experience in their computer lab.
FLOW Dominica General Manager Jeffrey Baptiste attended the school’s prize giving ceremony last week, in order to present the general manager’s award to the most outstanding student for the school year. The award went to John-Paul Itodo, for most outstanding student 2017, for Academic Excellence & School Spirit. He also received a cheque of $500, to help defray some of the costs associated with preparing himself to attend secondary school. Mr Baptiste congratulated Itodo and wished him success, as he embarks on the way forward to advance his education. Itodo is the lone scholarship for the school this year, and he also captured several other top awards during the school’s prize giving ceremony on Thursday. He thanked Mr. Baptiste for the award and cash contribution, confirming that it was a major investment in his future. John-Paul’s parents also extended gratitude to the company. He will be attending the Dominica Grammar School when the school year begins in September.
