Former House Speaker attorney Alix Boyd Knights gets recognized in the CCJ Academy for Law Pioneering Caribbean Women Jurists (PWCJ) Project. Beginning on March 8, 2022, International Women’s Day, the CCJ Academy for Law hosted a number virtual awards ceremony to celebrate thirty-four (34) pioneering Caribbean women jurists. The Awards ceremony is the culmination of the Pioneering Caribbean Women Jurists Project. The PCWJ Project honors Caribbean women jurists who are either the first or among the first to hold positions in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government; business, education, and international affairs and other fields that may have been traditionally dominated by men. It aims to educate and inspire the upcoming generation of attorneys and legal practitioners. Attorney Alix Boyd-Knights is one of those female pioneers.
