Former UWP Administration Agriculture Minister Peter Carbon says education and training can seem useless without industries to employ the educated and skilled persons
Former Agriculture Minister under the UWP administration, Peter Carbon, joined other individuals in commenting on the controversial statement made by the Prime Minister that he ‘runs things in Dominica’ by adding ‘he runs things to the ground’.
Carbon said though the Government concentrates on scholarships, if there are no industries to operate then the education is useless.
Mr. Carbon questioned whether or not we are going forward with all the scholarships and education, stating that although health is critical for our people, we have to import qualified medical personnel.
Mr. Carbon is of the opinion that Dominicans are falling back on issues concerning their lives.
