God’s supreme expectation in all affairs of men is righteousness and justice says Pastor Timothy4/26/2018 Speaking on the need for Electoral Reform from the evangelical services point of view at the National consultation on electoral reform held at the Goodwill Parish Hall on Tuesday April 24th 2018; the representative of the Dominica Evangelical Churches Pastor Timothy went on to say that. “As church we are mandated to be salt and light to the world, and begin with the premise that god supreme expectation in all affairs of men is righteousness and justice.” He noted that Democracy as a form of Government in our view is considered mans best effort to allow the involvement off all in their determination of their destiny. Pastor Timothy went on to say that Government was institutionalized by god as a servant for civil control for law and order according to biblical text. Leader of the Opposition Party Hon. Lennox Linton spoke at the National Consultation on electoral reform held at the Goodwill Parish Hall on Tuesday April 24, 2018. Mr. Linton said that, we are looking at a new round incumbency and abuse of position in government, abuse of resources. Resources paid for by our taxes and passport money and grants from overseas. Linton says that these abuses are being used to win the next general election. He also went on to say that, we have heard about this in 2014, and this abuse continues in 2018 as the DLP using the states money to buy influence to win votes of the next general elections. Mr Linton says that this is wrong and we as a nation needs to correct this. Leader of the Opposition Party Hon. Lennox Linton
