Government holding a national consultation today on CBI under theme ‘Development Prospects for Dominica’

​The Government of Dominica is holding a national consultation under the theme "Development Prospects for Dominica" within the context of the Citizenship by Investment Program as a platform for raising the funds necessary to finance development activities.
 
The consultation began at the State House Conference Centre at 9am this morning Monday April 24, 2017.
 
It has taken the form of presentations by the PM and Minister for Finance and Financial Secretary to be followed by a panel discussion on various facets of development and development financing.
 
PM Roosevelt Skerrit returned to island last week, following what he described as a comprehensive trip to Asia and the Middle East, to promote Dominica's CBI Program.
 
Mr Skerrit was addressing a contract signing last Thursday afternoon.

A wide cross section of the population was said to have been invited to participate, including all members of parliament, social organizations, representatives of religious organizations, trade unions, public officials and the banking sector, developers and prospective developers of projects funded by CBI and agents of the CBIP.
