Leader of the Dominica Freedom Party (DFP), and economist Kent Vital, claims his party has confirmed cases of serious irregularities including impersonations by party supporters during the December 6, 2019 General Elections. In an interview with Q95 news on Thursday, Vital said this was possible because the voters list was not clean sed and revised by the Electoral Commission, which allowed some Labour Party supporters to use the names of deceased Dominicans which were on the list, to gain additional votes over the United Workers Party. The Freedom Party Leader says his party will be contesting the next General Election. Vital also claims to have uncovered cases on December 6, 2019, where polling stations appeared to have been reserved and not publicized, for the purpose of sneaking in illegal votes for the Labour Party.
