Major Vehicular Accident at Antrim this morning left a bus driver and several passengers nursing injuries

​Q95 has received a report from a reliable source, that a major accident occurred in the Antrim area, at about 7:15 am today Monday, near to DOWASCO’s water tank. The bus was reportedly traveling from Grand Fond to Roseau with 12 people on board.
 
Speaking on Q95’s Hot Seat show today Monday, Mariane Jno Finn, Real Estate Agent and Host of the ‘Real Estate Show on Q95, reported that although the cause of the accident is still unknown for certain, there is some speculation that brakes issues on the passenger bus, may have led to a collision with a pole.
 
Unconfirmed reports indicate that at least four passengers received serious injuries. They were assisted by passers-by at the scene, who rushed to their rescue.
 
The Fire and Ambulance Services and police got to the scene of the accident soon thereafter. However, some of the injured were already being transported to hospital by private citizens. They were transferred to ambulances that they met on the way.
 
Jno Finn provided some details about the condition of the driver and some of the passengers.
