Manager of the Project Implementation Unit for the Dominica Emergency Agricultural Livelihoods and Climate Resilience Project Kervin Stephenson says the fisheries act has been under revision for a number of years, and one of the urgent things needed is food safety and handling legislation.
He says this is so to have export capabilities.
Stephenson listed Grenada as one of the few OECS countries that can export to the EU, because of the legislation that they have in place.
