Registrar of Cooperatives, Mariette Cannoville, said “cooperatives is the future for Dominica, and that is why we have organized this drama competition, to get the young people involved, to let them see the importance of cooperatives, & the contribution cooperatives can make”. She added, “We saw them selling their produce, and they understand that if we market as a group, we will get larger and better markets, and we will make more money. We saw that displayed in the performances, so cooperatives are the way to go”. She said “individualism cannot build a nation”, so it is important to appreciate this business model that encourages unity among people.
