National Youth Council announces the opening of Nominations for the 12th Annual National Youth Awards

​In a Press Release dated March 7, 2017, The National Youth Council of Dominica (NYCD) announced that Nominations for the 12th Annual National Youth Awards (ANUA), officially opened on Monday March 6th 2017, and will be concluded on Sunday April 30th 2017.
 
The 12th Annual National Youth Awards Ceremony itself is scheduled for Saturday, June 24th 2017 commencing at 6:00pm, and will be hosted at the Dominica State College auditorium.
  
The National Youth Council says its main objective is empowerment of youth and youth advocacy, and the ANUA is another avenue by which the it is able to highlight the achievement of Dominican youth.
 
Nomination forms are available at the NYCD’s office at 42 Kennedy Avenue in Roseau, or via its email address [email protected] , and on the NYCD’S website www.nycdominica.com . Completed forms should be returned to the office no later than Sunday April 30, 2017.
 
Every year the National Youth Council of Dominica hosts an honorary ceremony to award dynamic youth and youth organizations for outstanding performances in various fields, and to recognize and commend the exceptional work of youth in Dominica in seventeen (17) categories.
