Opposition Leader Lennox Linton questions the negotiating skills of the PM and his Negotiation Team8/9/2018 Speaking on one of the economical impactful issues in the country currently, Opposition Leader Lennox Linton, shed important light on the departure of Ross University from Dominica to Barbados. He spoke at UWP Press briefing in Picard, Portsmouth, and addressed the core issue which is in the heart and minds of the entire country, and even more so for the people of Portsmouth in particular. He contends that the negotiations between Ross University and the Government of Dominica did not leave the Dominican people, and especially those of Portsmouth, feeling satisfied in any way. He added that with such large amounts of money at their disposal, the DLP Government could have handled the affairs of the country in a different way, rather than have these failing outcomes. He says that the failure of the Government to meet the needs of the Ross University aided their departure, and thereby preventing many Dominicans from earning a living.
