Opposition Leader Lennox Linton says the more money Government gets, the worst things become

​Opposition Leader, Lennox Linton, says with all the money being spent across Dominica by the DLP Government, the country is still not doing any better.
 
"The more money the Government has, the worse the country does" he said at public meeting last week.
 
Linton accused the Government of plundering the resources of the country for the benefit of a few. "We need to wake up in this country" he said.

Meanwhile, Linton has told party supporters to be ready for the time when the DLP Government tries to make another attempt to pass Bills amending the Electoral Act in Parliament.
 
The last sitting of Parliament was adjourned without further consideration of matters which were on the order paper, including bills to amend the Electoral Laws, with respect to bribery and treating.
 
PM Skerrit claims that adjournment was an effort to avoid confrontation which others were seeking.  Prior to that decision, a number of persons had protested outside the Parliament, building against the proposed amendments.
 
But Linton told party supporters last week, "Keep your eyes open, keep your ears open, they are coming back to try again; to try to pass this offensive piece of legislation..."
