Outspoken Pastor Randy Rodney is calling on Dominicans citizens to get serious and move to curb the rise of Physical, Sexual, Verbal, Mental & Emotional abuse, by influential politicians, among others in Society
Outspoken Pastor Randy Rodney is demanding that Dominica’s citizens get serious and move to curb the rise of abuse in Dominica. Many disturbing scandals and affected witnesses have emerged against some influential politicians among others in Dominica, who are allegedly engaged in varying aspects of abuse, to include; Physical, Sexual, Verbal, Mental and Emotional abuse.
Pastor Rodney told Q95 news on Thursday, there is a linkage to the sharp increase in abuse cases in Dominica, in that, the citizenry are losing their moral compass, and have begun to praise and reward individuals for abusing others in Dominica, often because of the financial influence and or family lineages of those in question.
Rodney referenced the disgusting situation of sexual abuse which was reported and occurred after Hurricane Maria in Dominica at various hurricane Shelters, for relief items and money.
He says this new culture developed by Dominicans where nothing seems to be a problem is crazy, and when major national issues arise, the lack of interest shown by the public to resolve and punish those responsible, is disturbing.
Meantime, Rodney says in his entire lifetime, he has never before seen what he is now seeing in Dominica’s governance.
Rodney said there is no reason why Electoral Reform cannot be properly implemented by the Electoral Commission in Dominica.
He added that the Electoral Commission appears to be more concerned about what government officials think about the process, rather than about giving the citizens of the land free and fair elections.
Rodney presents an argument which he says highlights the one-sided hypocrisy in the debate about the need for Electoral Reform, and exposed the flaws in the current process being upheld by the DLP Administration & the Chairman of the Electoral Commission in Dominica.
