PM Skerrit assures Venezuela’s Ambassador of Dominica’s solidarity with the Government of Venezuela

​As the world continues to watch Venezuela implode, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit assures the Venezuelan Ambassador to Dominica, that the Government of Dominican stands in solidarity with the Venezuelan Government, on principle, and not because of PetroCaribe or the country’s kindness to Dominica.
 
Speaking at the ‘12th Anniversary of PetroCaribe in Dominica Solidarity Service’ on Thursday, Skerrit said no one has a right to remove the Venezuelan President from office by force.

​PM Skerrit said he noted a growing tendency around the world, to remove Governments through violent means. According to Skerrit, a terrorist act, no matter where it happens, must be condemned, and it is everyone’s human right to do so.
