President of the Portsmouth Hospitality Association, Ashton Riviere, says that sector has not yet adjusted or rebounded since the departure of Ross University. Four months after the official announcement of Ross University’s departure from Dominica, on 23rd August 2018, Riviere says the Association recently reached out to the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) for help to bring back significant business to Portsmouth. Meantime, Riviere is calling on relevant authorities to speedily develop a product, which can be sold to foreign markets to significantly boost the economy's Portsmouth district.
