PPOD Leader advises hoteliers to find ways to strategically spread costs throughout their several services

Managing Director for CGM Gallagher Insurance Brokers Barbados & Eastern Caribbean, Scott Stollmeyer announced that following two category 5 hurricanes which decimated several destinations in the Caribbean in September, Hoteliers in those hurricane ravaged countries should expect a hike in premium costs between 10% and 40%. Stollmeyer made that announcement while speaking at a Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Webinar in early November, dubbed; ‘Hotel Property Insurance After The Storms.’
 
PPOD Leader Sapphire Carrington is advising hoteliers within the Dominica Hotelier & Tourism Association to find creative ways in which they can strategically spread cost, throughout their services, without appearing to be too costly for their clients.

Meanwhile, Leader of the Freedom Party and Economist Kent Vital says he is not surprised at the announcement made by Managing Director of the Barbados and Eastern Caribbean for CGM Gallagher Insurance Brokers, Scott Stollmeyer.

The DFP Leader is advising Hoteliers in Dominica to look at the best ways they can spread cost throughout their business, to be able to comfortably pay their insurance premiums and still maintain affordable services.
