Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit appears to be very worried that many DLP Supporters may be inclined to vote for change in the next general election, to give someone else a chance to move the country forward. Speaking at the launch of the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) candidate for Grand Bay, Senator Edward Registe on Sunday, Skerrit warned Dominica Labour Party supporters who have not decided to vote in the next general election, saying to them there is no alternative other than the DLP, and nobody can leave the labor party and vote UWP on principle. He said the only reason a laborite would vote UWP would have to be out of spite, and not from logical reasoning. In response to persons who say that labor has done a good job, but it is time to give someone else a chance, a time for change, Skerrit said, “change to what?, change to whom?, there is nothing wrong in exercising a choice but, if that choice is for the worse, then you would have to be a mad person to change for the worse.” Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit
