Closed Marigot Hospital Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit’ responded to UWP Leader Lennox Linton’s statement that a foreign contractor was being awarded the contract to build the Marigot Hospital. Linton recently made comments at a UWP rally to the effect that the people need to stand up against the idea of foreign contractors such as MMCE building the Marigot hospital. The Prime Minister says that it would appear that whether or not the Marigot hospital is built, Linton is not perturbed. He says the constant demands for the hospital to be built holds no weight, especially now that the hospital is going to be built using CBI funds, but Linton has now changed his mind, saying it shouldn’t be built by foreigners. Skerrit asked Linton to name a Marigot contractor who would be best qualified to build the hospital & he questioned their financial credibility. Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit
