Roseau Central MP encourages members of all political parties to embrace the notion of statesmanship5/2/2017 MP for the Roseau Central Constituency, Joseph Isaac, is encouraging members of the Dominica Labour Party, the United Workers Party, and all other political parties, to exercise statesmanship when dealing with matters pertaining to the interests of citizens of Dominica. Isaac made this statement while speaking on Q95fm Radio this morning, with respect to his attendance at the official opening of the reconstructed West Bridge in his Roseau Central Constituency yesterday Monday 1st May 2017, where he was not invited to speak. Meanwhile, Isaac has responded to criticisms levelled against him from some quarters, for attending Monday’s Roseau West Bridge Official Opening Ceremony. He told Q95’s Hot Seat show today, that he was acting on the advice of his constituents, in his decision to attend the official ceremony which marked the opening of the bridge. Isaac said he did not contradict himself in any way, and he was pleased to have assured his constituents that he did not attend any celebration. However, his attendance at the ceremony was to constructively observe, since he was not invited to speak, and he also took the opportunity to demonstrate statesmanship, in his capacity as the MP for the Roseau Central Constituency
