The Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) in Dominica is implementing a project to build a new primary school and resource center. At the ground-breaking ceremony, Miriam Blanchard, the parliamentary representative for the Roseau North Constituency, gave the church get remarks for their efforts in developing the of our students. She emphasized that this only serves to underscore the crucial role that churches play in giving our youth on the island access to educational opportunities. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to provide quality education for the nation's children and pledged their full support for the initiative. The project in Roseau North Constituency, she continued, is proof that such an effort will increase the community's resolve to become a leader in elementary education. In order to ensure that the nation can resist future climatic shocks, Blanchard continues to underline the government's intention to construct more resilient buildings with upgraded and specified codes.
