Station Officer Grenfel Defoe of the Dominica Fire and Ambulance Services, Roseau District, assured that the department is committed to ensuring the safety of the Real Mas 2025 event. Speaking at the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) Carnival Press Conference on Thursday, Defoe emphasized that it is the responsibility of the Fire and Ambulance Service to make certain that all mass gatherings, including Mas Domnik and Real Mas 2025, are held in a safe environment.

Defoe further assured that the Dominica Fire and Ambulance Services would be providing comprehensive support during Real Mas 2025. He explained that fire and ambulance resources, including relevant personnel, will be stationed along the designated Carnival route. Defoe added that on-site officers will monitor crowd activities, respond to emergencies, and attend to any medical, trauma, or minor incidents that may arise during the event.
