The call for Prime Minister Skerrit to resign continues & is intensifying, as civil society groups and the Joint CARICOM-Commonwealth-OAS Special Mission report in some ways bolsters that call. Leader of the Parliamentary Opposition in Dominica, who is also a former President of the DAIC and a renowned Journalist, Lennox Linton, has laid out specific imperatives, which he feels in some ways is boosted by civil society groups and the Joint CARICOM-Commonwealth-OAS Special Mission Report. He is of the view that an interim body be appointed to run the affairs of the island, before the Elections are announced. Linton says these specific mandates must be carried out by the interim governing body, to ensure free and fair elections in Dominica. He was speaking at a Press Conference, at the Prevo Cinemall on 21st October 2019.
