The Dominica Association of Industry & commerce (DAIC) is confident that the first ever STEM curriculum in the country will be successful.
The pilot project of the Science, Technology, Engineering, mathematics (STEM) program came as a result of a commitment to action by the DAIC, by the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).
The project is scheduled to start in the 2019 Academic year, at the Arthur Waldron Academy in Glanvillia Portsmouth.
Executive Director of the DAIC, Lizra Fabien says the success of this STEM Project Depends on the Brain Pool, as well the contacts made with the CGI.
Mrs Fabien says the initiative will be looking at a Robotics Camp, Science Week and Mathematics week, to better help the children in problem solving.
