The Lifestyle that we live is more important than the type of politics that we espouse, says Dr Irving Pascal….

​Speaking as a guest on the regular weekly show “Life line” on Q95, ENT Specialist Dr Irving Pascal advised the public to look at the type of lifestyle that we live, as a people, rather than the type of politics we espouse.
 
Dr Pascal argues that the manner in which our political structure is set up, is not beneficial to us, and we need to decide individually and collectively, what type of mentality we are going to adopt.
 
He says there are two energies within us, and we have to make a conscious effort, to think positively, because whatever we do  as individuals and as a people, has an impact on the universe around us.

​Dr Pascal went on to say, how we manage those energies determine where we are as a people, and we should concentrate on who we are on the inside, rather than looking at the flaws in everyone around us.

Meantime, Pascal said politics in Dominica is like Party tribalism, and here in Dominica it is silencing the rest of those who feel like they have something to say.
 
And as a result, it stifles one’s critical judgement, and it brings about victimization, which in turn brings about fear. And to fail to resist that, is insane, because nothing lasts forever, including fear.
