There should be no bias in the police force, says President of the Dominica Freedom Party, Johnson Boston, who was speaking on some of the recent issues that have transpired within the political and social arena, which in the eyes of many, leaves the public to wonder whether or not the police commissioner is blind to some political parties and their members. This seemingly biased policing taking place within the country, needs to provide a wake-up call that the police force represents and works for the people, and every political party, and not just a select few, says Boston. He then referenced the Police Commissioner of Trinidad who used his power as the commissioner of police to haul both political parties into a meeting and set the ground rules for civil obedience and proper ethics, as persons veering to lead a country, saying, this is an example of proper democratic policing.
