VF Inc is set to host its 10th Summer Youth Series, July 24 to 29, 2017 at the Holy Redeemer Retreat House

VF Inc is set to host its Tenth Summer Youth Series, July 24 – 29th, 2017 at the Holy Redeemer Retreat House. This, year, based on multiple requests over the years, a “Live-In Camp,” is being offered for the week.  However; the Day Option, from 8am – 4pm, is also available.
 
The event is being hosted under the theme “Empowering our Youth for a Better Tomorrow,” with the Sub Theme this year being “A Life of Service and Volunteerism.”   While the focus continues on Self-Esteem and Confidence, a minimum of two hours daily will be devoted to topics related to a “Life of Service and Volunteerism.”  Planned field trips will also be centred around this Sub-Theme.
 
The usual extra activities from which the children choose include: football, rounder's, poetry, song writing, drama, dance, hairdressing, cosmetology and jewellery making.
 
Parents and guardians are being encouraged to register their children aged 10 – 19, to participate and be part of the VF Inc’s Youth Series 2017.
 
Sponsorship from companies are also requested to assist the children of employees as an incentive, as well as for individuals to sponsor a child in their community.
