Some twenty-two (22) hunters are geared to benefit from a workshop of the Forestry, Wildlife and National Parks Division.
The workshop is geared at fostering co-ownership of Dominica’s wildlife for sustainability, discussing the hunting environment and its socio-economic impact on the development of Dominica. It also seeks to better acquaint hunters with the legislation as it pertains to wildlife management in Dominica.
The workshop is carded for May 11th 2016 at the Roseau Fisheries Complex and will address the topics; Hunting in Dominica; Legal/Illegal Hunting; Commercial Hunting; Wildlife Farming and Guidelines for Hunters etc.
Two retired forestry officers Arlington James and Adolphus Christian will facilitate the day’s program.
