24 families could soon be getting keys to apartments at Bath Estate.
That was announced by PM Roosevelt Skerrit recently.
The Bath Estate housing project which was funded by the government of Dominica through a soft loan from China, begun in 2014 with a view to providing low cost comfortable accommodation for low income families.
It comprises two and three bedroom apartments.
The houses, 36 in Elmshall and 24 in Bath Estate, was constructed by Chinese Firm Shanghai construction company.
The process to allocate houses for persons was said to commence last year.
But last week Skerrit explained the reasoning for the delay.
He says there is an issue with the sewer line at the apartments at Elmshall the first of the delays.
The PM further explained the other issues for allocation of the apartments.
