10 months after the ravages of TS Erika, Government signs contract with Montreal Management Consultants Est. (MMCE) for the construction of houses to accommodate the displaced residents of Petite Savanne. Acting Prime Minister, Rayburn Blackmoore, stated that 316 homes will be constructed in the Bellevue Chopin Area creating a new community and taking the lives of the Petite Savanne residents to a better level. Meanwhile, CEO of MMCE, Anthony Haiden, stated that there is no fixed amount for this contract, but it is a commitment by the company to execute the project at any cost.
